    The Alliance Commends Olive Branch Mayor Scott B. Phillips, Jr. for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Scott B. Phillips, Jr. of Olive Branch, Mississippi for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Mississippi, general aviation has an annual economic impact of $860 million.

    “We commend Mayor Phillips recognition of the essential services and economic impact general aviation provides to Olive Branch and the state of Mississippi,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We thank Mayor Phillips for his proclamation and look forward to working with him in the future.”
