Columbia Regional Airport is set to break ground on its new terminal Tuesday.
The terminal is part of a $20 million airport improvement project that started in March 2015. Officials hope to open the terminal in spring 2022.
Tuesday’s groundbreaking will be a virtual event because of COVID-19. Officials from the City of Columbia, Columbia Regional Airport, Nabholz Construction and Burns and McDonnell Engineering will be there.
