WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) – After Mayor Stephen Santellana declared November General Aviation Appreciation Month, the Alliance for Aviation Across America commended the motion on Friday.
According to AAAA officials, general aviation airports support an annual economic output of more than $14.4 million in Texas.
“Mayor Santellana’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of Wichita Falls and the State of Texas,” Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America Selena Shilad said. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of Wichita Falls for recognizing this vital industry.”
