  • Kamaka Air and Fur friends of Kauai Humane Society are collecting donations for pets displaced by severe flooding on Kauai earlier this month.

The two organizations are collecting donations from Tuesday to Thursday, and they’re asking for canned food, collars, leashes, shampoo and crates, among other necessary pet items.

Oahu residents can drop off donations at Kamaka Air, at 144 Palekona Street from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Those wishing to donate are asked to label their items “Kauai Pet Donations”.

The collected donations will be flown to Fur-Friends of Kauai Humane Society on Thursday afternoon.
