General aviation is responsible for about $7.7 billion worth of economic activity and is essential for growth in tourism, agriculture and manufacturing.
Florida’s commercial airports accommodate nearly 169 million travelers annually, ranking Florida the third in the nation.
Governor Scott’s proclamation recognizes the importance of aviation and the role it plays in connecting communities both big and small across the state.
