As preparations begin for holiday travel, the Hays Regional Airport invites the public to attend a “Santa Fly In” and Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Hays Regional Airport, 3950 East Eighth.
Local aircraft manufacturer RANS will fly Santa in to greet children in the airport lobby. Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided by the Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Hays Area Arts Council and McDonald’s of Hays will provide a small holiday craft for the first 40 children.
Attendees will have a chance to enter to win two United Airline vouchers that will be given away at the event. In addition, RANS has donated a voucher for a 20-minute private ride in an S-20 Raven, a high wing, side-by-side, light sport plane.
Business After Hours events are put on by the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce to showcase local businesses and promote networking among members of the business community.
