Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch joined the hundreds of thousands of people visiting EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
Kleefisch was there for the national meeting of the Aerospace States Association onThursday.
She’s chairwoman of the manufacturing committee of the association, which is made up of lieutenant governors and state-appointed delegates from all over the country.
Kleefisch says the meeting was a good way to show what Wisconsin has to offer aviation research.
“I brought the national meeting of the Aerospace States Association here to bring folks here to EAA,” Kleefisch said, “so they understand that the epicenter of general aviation is here, Wittman Field, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, EAA every single year.”
