The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Edward B. Braddy of Gainesville, Florida for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Florida, general aviation airports contribute over $7.7 billion to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Braddy’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of Gainesville and the State of Florida,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of Gainesville for recognizing this vital industry.”
