The New Hampshire DOT’s Bureau of Aeronautics recently completed a system plan for the state’s 25 public-use airports that concluded the airport community is responsible for $1.16 billion in annual economic impact.
Aerospace manufacturing adds another $9.98 million to this total.
The study also demonstrated that aviation in the state has a total economic impact of $2.1 billion per year and is responsible for approximately 13,000 jobs.
