WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for Aviation Across America commended Mayor Ken Tracy, of Mitchell, for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.”
In South Dakota, general aviation contributes $303 million to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Tracy’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Mitchell and the state of South Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, executive director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the mayor and the city of Mitchell for recognizing this vital industry.”
