  • Baker Aviation of Fort Worth, Texas, expanded its aircraft charter management fleet and is adding another 21,000 sq ft of hangar space at its Meacham International Airport facility. Its fleet grew by eight aircraft: a Cessna Citation II and two Citation IIIs; Embraer Legacy 600; Dassault Falcon 2000; Hawker 800XP; Beechcraft King Air B200; and Piaggio Avanti. The hangar expansion will bring Baker Aviation’s total space to 40,000 sq ft, the company said today at the

2015 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference.

Baker Aviation was founded in 2008, amid the economic downturn. “I knew then, even with the economic turmoil, there were opportunities for us to build a premier aviation company that provides the turnkey alternative to the traditional flight department,” said Baker Aviation charter president Stanley Baker. “We are exponentially expanding our business in a very short period of time and establishing Baker Aviation as a major player in the charter management business in Texas.”

The Argus Platinum-rated charter provider also offers aircraft maintenance services for Hawker, King Air, Beechjet, Citation, Learjet, Falcon, Challenger and Gulfstream models at both its Fort Worth headquarters and new maintenance facility at Addison Airport.
