Espinosa is in the Professional Pilot and Unmanned Aircraft Systems programs at Cochise College.

The Bisbee native is the vice president of the Papa Zero Three flight club at the college, and she plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and minor in unmanned aircraft systems at Embry-Riddle University.

Her aspirations include starting an aviation business to better fight Arizona wildfires by coordinating manned and unmanned aerial systems.

The ABAA works to promote business aviation interests and growth in Arizona. According to its website, “the organization works to enhance communications, educate the public, and represent the safety and professional livelihood of its members.” The association awards up to five scholarships twice a year to students enrolled full time at a college or university in Arizona and interested in pursuing a career in business aviation.
