  • An unidentified man was flown to a Boston area hospital after being struck by a car on Route 134 in the area of Patriot Square in South Dennis Tuesday night. According to a Dennis police release, officers responded to multiple 911 calls at the intersection of Route 134 Market Place just after 8 p.m.

Officers arrived to find the male victim unconscious and lying perpendicular to the roadway. It is believed he was attempting to cross the road when struck in the southbound lane.
