Landmark Aviation at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia held an open house to showcase the company’s new private jet facility.
Guests in attendance included current and former directors and commissioners of the Norfolk Airport Authority as well as City of Norfolk councilman Barclay Winn.
“The Open House was a culmination of many months of planning and coordination between the Norfolk Airport Authority and Landmark Aviation,” said Steven Schell, general manager of Landmark Aviation, Norfolk International.
“We look forward to being able to better serve our customers and the Norfolk Community in this new state-of-the-art facility,” Schell added.
The renovation project took just over one year to complete. The facility now features lighted parking with additional parking spaces, a 25 ft canopy for loading and unloading passengers, an elliptical lobby with large windows overlooking the corporate aircraft hangar, as well as an executive conference room and VIP lounge.
“This significant investment in Norfolk International’s FBO facilities demonstrates the Norfolk Airport Authority’s commitment to our General Aviation community and our partnership with Landmark Aviation,” Norfolk Airport Authority executive director Wayne Shank said.
