  • About 25,000 attendees and 1,100 exhibitors are expected at the 66th annual NBAA Convention, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday next week at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There also will be about 100 business aircraft on static display at the show. These include a dozen airplanes and helicopters, as well as five cabin mockups, that will be available for viewing at a new indoor display area at the convention center. Meanwhile, the sold-out static display at nearby Henderson Executive Airport will feature 85 business aircraft, ranging from piston singles to bizliners.

House GA Caucus co-chair Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.), FAA Administrator Michael Huerta and former U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow will be keynote speakers at the convention’s opening general session on Tuesday morning. More than 100 educational seminars will also be held throughout the show.

There will be plenty of news coming out of the show, including the much-anticipated launch of Dassault’s super-midsize jet, and the AIN team is already arriving in Las Vegas to provide comprehensive coverage of the show. Our NBAA Convention News will publish three daily print issues at the show starting Tuesday morning. AINtv will begin on-site broadcasting on Monday, and AINalerts will publish daily afternoon issues from Monday through Thursday.

In addition, look for web-exclusive stories, podcasts and videocasts on AINonline starting this weekend, as well as frequent Twitter and Facebook updates. The newly updated AINonline app for iOS devices also includes an NBAA Convention channel, complete with an exhibitor directory, convention floor and static display maps and the latest show news. Absolutely no one covers the NBAA Convention better than AIN.
