It’s a sign of budding business in Ontario County. Officials came together Tuesday to unveil the newest expansion at the Canandaigua Airport.
Officials say the improvements were needed to accommodate the increasing number of corporate and private jets coming into that airport, thanks to expanding business in that area.
The expansion changes the runway from 3,200 to 5,500 feet. The project was more than 15 years in the making and officials hope it will lead to even more economic growth in that area.
