VIRGINIA BEACH — The Virginia Beach Development Authority approved $65,000 in grants to the Virginia Beach Airport and a mental health care provider, Inside Business reported.
The private airport used by the Military Aviation Museum is expected to receive $55,000 for work including the expansion of the main hangar. The museum uses the airport to display and fly primarily World World II vintage and replica aircraft.
Compasión, which provides counseling to at-risk youth, plans to use $10,000 to expand its offices.
