Savannah, Ga.-based Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will add 100 jobs, mostly in areas of purchasing and engineering, at its facility in Greenville, Wis. over the next 90 days due to orders for more than 200 of its luxury G650 business jet, reports the Appleton (Wis.) Post-Crescent.

The company currently employs about 725 people in Greenville.

“We’re starting to ramp up production of the G650 and that’s part of the reason why we’re doing this hiring,” Heidi Fedak, a spokeswoman for Gulfstream told the Post-Crescent.

The Gulfstream’s G650 has a base price of about $58 million, the paper said.

Gulfstream delivered its first G650 in December. The aircraft is the fastest certified civilian aircraft in production.

Gulfstream is a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
