Tennessee Airports Receive $12.2M in Aeronautics Grants

  • (NASHVILLE, Tenn.) — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announced on Wednesday that 13 Tennessee airports will be receiving federal and state aeronautics totaling $12.2 million.

    The funds will be used to assist in the location, design, construction and maintenance of Tennessee’s diverse public aviation system.

    The airports receiving grants are as follows: Centerville Municipal Airport, DeWitt Spain General Aviation Airport, Chattanooga Lovell Field, Savannah-Hardin County Airport, Cleveland Municipal Airport, Smithville Municipal Airport, Maury County Regional Airport, Shelbyville Municipal Airport, Covington Municipal Airport and Tri-Cities Regional Airport.
