More than 100 companies looking to hire new employees will attend a job fair sponsored by Nassau County on Monday at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, county officials said.

Admission will be open to military veterans seeking jobs at 9 a.m. while doors open for general admission at 10 a.m. The fair runs until 2 p.m.

“My economic development team is committed to creating jobs by attracting new employers and supporting small business development,” County Executive Edward Mangano said in a statement.

His office expects 125 to 150 employers to attend, including such companies as National Grid, British Airways, GEICO, United Healthcare, American Eagle Outfitters, Healthplex, MTA, Pall Corp, NYC Transit and Cellular Sales. Potential positions range from entry level to management, officials said.

Admission and parking is free for the event at The Cradle of Aviation, which is part of Museum Row on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Mitchel Field.
