WEST PALM BEACH — One of the world’s largest private aviation companies is expanding its operations at Palm Beach International Airport and the move isn’t only creating new jobs, it will pump millions of dollars into our local economy.
In the world of private jets, not too many of us get to fly in them, but at PBIA private jets are big business. So important that Net Jets and Signature Flight support broke ground on a brand new 13 million dollar state of the art terminal Thursday near Military Trail and Belvedere Road.
Net Jets which is the leader of fractional ownership and rentals of private business jets has outgrown its terminal at Palm Beach International Airport.
The new terminal will be ten thousand square feet and is being built on the old Golfview site which the airport purchased 15 years ago for redevelopment.
