  • On May 6th, Executive Director Selena Shilad was interviewed on KMAN-AM News-Talk 1350 in Manhattan, Kansas. Selena discussed the importance of general aviation and the economic impact it has on local communities. She specifically talked about Manhattan Airport, which has provides over $22 million in economic impact to the area annually.

    Governor Sam Brownback declared May as Aviation Appreciation Month.  The alliance of aviation across America has taken this opportunity to create awareness of how important aviation is for the state of Kansas according to executive director, Selena Shilad.
