    The Alliance Commends Columbus Mayor Coleman for Declaring December ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Michael Coleman of Columbus, Ohio for proclaiming December “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Ohio, general aviation contributes $1.7 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Coleman’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Columbus and the state of Ohio,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Columbus for recognizing this vital industry.”
