  • Atlanta Aviation is a business that flies fire patrol for Texas Fire Service. It is their job to spot and detect wildfires early and respond as quickly as possible. It is extremely important task due to the fact that fire seasons have been worse from droughts. Fires that can burn for long periods of time ranging from days to even months, growing up to 500 to 2,000 feet with flames 50 to 100 feet, are extremely dangerous. With the winds and tropical depression from Hurricane Lee having to have contributed to the fires, helicopters and single-engine air tankers will be effective.

Certainly, a fire can grow to thousands of acres can cause enormous amounts of wreckage. Texas Fire Service in collaboration with Atlanta Aviation is in effort to contain and control the spread of fire. The company has worked for 20 years has saved millions of dollars in property damage. This is one more example of how general aviation improves the safety of communities across the country.
