  • On Saturday, a group of 169 Boy Scouts, with the cooperation of the Young Eagles Program, were given the chance to fly in small airplanes and helicopters in Wilmington, North Carolina. For these Scouts, this was a part of earning their aviation merit badges. Young Eagles, which often works with Boy Scouts, is a youth program sponsored by the experimental Aircraft Association to educate children about aviation and provide occupational resources, scholarships and internships to its members. Watch the video to see the enthusiasm for flight in these children.
