China’s recent effort to buy American aviation companies like Cirrus is causing some push-back among the United States’ aviation community.
The Wichita Eagle reports that according to one analyst, China’s motivations are to make aviation a national priority and to get in on the general aviation industry at the bottom of the market cycle.
Analyst Rolland Vincent says China’s push creates concern for American aircraft manufacturers who already are facing stiff competition from foreign companies like Embraer and Honda Jet.
