Helen Thomson’s 105th birthday wish came true thanks to the help of the staff at the Herron House, a Largo assisted living center owned by First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks where Thompson lives, and church members Kim and Alan Kussy.
“I told them that I think it would be exciting to see this area up in the air, see how it has changed.” With the help of Kim and Alan Kussy and their Cessna 310, Helen took off from the airstrip at Hidden Lake Estates in New Port Richey and had her birthday wish fullfilled.
