  • Hoping to encourage and educate current and future women pilots, Mary Sittman and Leah Dunn are setting out in the Women’s Air Race Classic that was made famous by Amelia Earhart. Established in 1929, the race forces participates to rely on their senses rather than instruments as they maneuver around obstacles up in the clouds.

Also participating, Linda Street-Ely (Liberty, Texas) and her co-pilot Dr. Elizabeth Kummer (Dallas, Texas) are sharing their passion for aviation as an activity that’s good for families, businesses and communities. With her husband, Linda promotes general aviation through public speaking, writing and aviation programs.
