Are you a general aviation pilot? For those of you who are, you have a unique opportunity to influence one of the most significant new technologies currently being developed in aviation, the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Researchers at the University of North Dakota (UND) have put together this online survey for people just like you, to share your experiences and opinions about the weather technology you currently use in flight and what ideas you have for the new NextGen technology. Researchers at UND will take your ideas directly to the Federal Aviation Administration to use as they design and implement NextGen in the coming years.
Two other universities are working with UND on this project Ð the University of Alaska and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
