FAA Plan for National Airport System


 

Report to Congress: National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) 2007-2011 (PDF)

This bi-annual report for Congress by the FAA outlines the national plan for the airport system.  It is used by the FAA in administering the Airports Improvement Program, whose funding is cut in the big airlines’ FAA proposal, despite the dependence of community airports on the program.

An alphabetical list of all airports considered “significant” by the FAA.  Identifies airports by hub type, number of annual passengers (enplanements) and number of based aircraft.
